(What we believe)
Faith | Community | Service
At Pillarstone Ministry, we are a faith-based community rooted in North Carolina, where faith, community, and service come together to guide others along the narrow road. Through our weekly Bible study blog posts and inspiring sermon videos, we aim to provide spiritual nourishment, hope, and encouragement to everyone who seeks God's truth.
Founded on principles of love, faith, and integrity, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment where individuals from all walks of life can find comfort, support, and inspiration. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of God’s Word or be part of a compassionate faith community, you are welcome here.
Our Mission:
To be pillars of strength and hope—standing firm in our faith while extending a helping hand to those in need, just as God commanded us:
"The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God." — Revelation 3:12
Through outreach programs, educational teachings, and online spiritual gatherings, we strive to empower people to embrace their divine purpose and make a positive impact in the world for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Join us on this journey of faith!
Together, we can be the pillars of light (1 Timothy 3:15), shining God’s love, hope, and joy into the world.
PILLARSTONE Statement of Faith
1. The Bible is God’s Word
We believe the Bible is God's true and trustworthy Word. It teaches us how to live, love, and follow Jesus.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 4:4
2. One God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one God who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is our Creator, Redeemer, and Helper.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19; John 14:26
3. Jesus Saves
Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and gives eternal life to all who trust in Him.
Scripture: John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10
4. We All Need Grace
Every person has sinned and needs God’s forgiveness. Only through Jesus can we be made right with God.
Scripture: Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9
5. New Life in Christ
When we trust Jesus, we are made new. The Holy Spirit changes us, helping us grow in love, truth, and obedience.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 5:22-23
6. The Church is God’s Family
We are the Church—God’s people, not a building. We meet to worship, pray, serve, and grow in faith.
Scripture: Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:4-5
7. Baptism and Communion
We baptize believers by immersion as a sign of new life in Christ. We take Communion to remember Jesus' death and celebrate His return.
Scripture: Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
8. We Live for the Kingdom of God
We seek to live under Jesus’ rule now and look forward to His return when all things will be made new.
Scripture: Matthew 6:10; Revelation 21:5
9. Jesus is Coming Again
Jesus will return one day to judge the world and bring everlasting life to all who belong to Him.
Scripture: Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
10. Worship and Rest
We set aside time to rest and worship—especially on Sundays—as a rhythm of devotion and joy.
Scripture: Hebrews 10:25; John 4:24
11. Our Mission: Make Disciples
Jesus sends us to share the gospel and make disciples everywhere we go—starting with our homes and communities.
Scripture: Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8
12. We Learn and Grow
We value wisdom, learning, and spiritual growth. Every day is a chance to know Jesus more.
Scripture: Colossians 2:2-3; Proverbs 1:7
13. Giving and Generosity
Everything we have is a gift from God. We give cheerfully and use what we have to bless others.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7; Matthew 6:19-21
14. Unity in Christ
We are one in Christ. Though we are different, we work together in love and truth to show the world who Jesus is.
Scripture: Ephesians 4:3-6; John 17:21
15. Loving Our Neighbor
We show our faith through compassion, justice, and service—caring for the poor, the hurting, and the forgotten.
Scripture: Matthew 25:40; James 1:27
16. Peace and Forgiveness
We choose peace, not conflict. As followers of Jesus, we forgive and love—even when it’s hard.
Scripture: Matthew 5:9; Romans 12:18
17. Freedom in Christ
We believe God leads each heart. We honor the freedom of every person to follow God’s Word and voice.
Scripture: Galatians 5:1; Romans 14:5
18. The Family Matters
God created the family. Marriage is between one man and one woman, and children are to be loved, guided, and raised in faith.
Scripture: Ephesians 5:22-33; Proverbs 22:6
